Inspiring Positive Futures | Discover Me Programme | Selby, North Yorkshire

We are proud to announce the continuation of our Discover Me Programme in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in Selby, North Yorkshire, now entering our third successful year of delivery. Over the past two years, the programme has achieved strong outcomes, supporting young people to: secure meaningful employment progress into further and higher education, including university start their own businesses join key anchor organisations across North Yorkshire We are incredibly proud of the resilience, ambition and progress shown by every young person who has engaged in the programme.

At Inspiring Positive Futures, we challenge the traditional label “NEET” (Not in Education, Employment or Training). Instead, we redefine this as: Needing Employment, Education and Training This reflects our core belief that young people should never be defined by their current circumstances, but by their potential, strengths and future contribution.

Through the Discover Me Programme, we provide tailored support, confidence-building opportunities and real-world pathways to help every young person: recognise their strengths build essential life and employability skills access opportunities that lead to sustainable futures We firmly believe that every young person has something valuable to offer society and the economy and, with the right support, they can thrive.
